1. Who we are and accepting these terms

Kyvern is a mentoring platform that helps people find and learn from mentors. By creating an account or using Kyvern, you agree to these terms. Kyvern is the trading name for [UNSET: registered company name and address]. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the platform.

2. Who can use Kyvern

You must be 18 or older to use Kyvern. You are responsible for making sure the information you give us is true and current. Kyvern does not give professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. Any guidance from a mentor is the mentor’s own view, not ours.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything that happens through your account. We strongly recommend turning on multi-factor authentication. Tell us right away if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

4. How mentors and mentees should behave

Be respectful. Do not harass, abuse, or discriminate against anyone. Do not share illegal, harmful, or misleading content. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

5. Paid plans

Some features need a paid plan. Payments are handled by Stripe. Except where the law says otherwise, we do not offer refunds once a billing period has started. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

6. Our responsibility

We carry out basic checks on mentors before they join, but we do not run deep background checks. You are responsible for doing your own due diligence before you choose a mentor. Kyvern aims to give you a safe and enjoyable experience, but we are not liable for a mentor’s conduct or for the outcome of a mentoring relationship, unless the law says we must be.

7. Suspending or ending your access

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or use the platform in a way that harms others. You can close your account at any time from your profile settings.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when our practices change. We will publish the latest version on this page and update the date shown.
